Day Retreat - Self Appreciation

Rather than writing a list of things we appreciate about ourselves (this can be good but usually just comes from the mind and is often what we think we “should be”) - we will look at how we can come back to presence, play and joy.

Through movement, somatic art and writing we will come back to true self appreciation. Isn’t the simple “being-ness” what we appreciate in tiny babies? Usually, as small children we don’t need self-appreciation - we just are. Self appreciation comes as a practice when we’re told or believe ourselves to not be enough.

Dance, explore, connect, play by the river. Come and be you.
